Remember this is a forum, everyone and anyone can express their opinions. We all have our own taste, sometimes we go overboard with it.
Your car looks nice, but there is always room for improvement. The main thing jumping at me are your mismatched wheels. You should get a complete set. The wing, personally I think it would look a lot better wingless or go with the '99 spec.

i agreed when i first got it the wing is too much
but i want to keep it as a JDM DRIFT style car
and thats gaudy ....right
but it grew on me
we will see if it has any real areo affect at speed
\ and then ill decide
and i can take comments good or bad
but direct insults are not called for just say you dont like some thing or that you have a different opinion
not ditch the gragen wing
its a very expensive well mounted adjustible wing and i belive it will have good affect at speed . it spinns the wheels so easy it needs some help for traction . im hoping slicks will help some .
and the front wheels were bent so they went to the trash
any one got JDM wheels for sale ?

Majority of the time a lot of members here are friendly and helpful. There's always that small few. The previous opinions you received were just that, opinions. Like I said earlier, we all have our own taste. Some people are straight forward with their opinions. We all try to make our cars unique as possible. Some will like it and some won't, it's just the way of life. Anyways, good luck with your project.

No one said that. That would be a flame. What you got was a few people speaking their mind and hardly even close to a flame.
You posted pictures because you wanted feedback... you got it and now you are bitching????
Would you prefer'd," Wow cool car wish I had one like it"???
Like it really matters what someone else thinks. And to take your own words:
why does anyone bother to post here ?

I gotta join Karack and Icemark's club on this one. As to the detractions, nothing different than trying to get a Democrat & Republican to agree on everything as well. Don't take it personal.
Some rubber plugs in the mounting holes if removed would detract a bit in the alternative. But, would be a better choice.
Side note, what is the story on the wheels??

cooldude,
First and foremost, welcome to the west forum. It is here where we make fun of anyone or any car. Please don't take anything to heart. We are tight knit family, disfunctional most of the time but what family isn't? If u click on any thread here you'll find many of us poking fun at each other.
The west isn't just a place to seek informative posts or thread but it's a social gathering too.
With that in mind, we ask if u could please take that wing off jk
If it looks good for you, that's the only thing that counts. But if you're are going to post pics on a public forum...people are going to comment on it negatively or positively.
The Belligerents welcomes you.

yup different strokes for different folks...
we are ruthless but criticism is the best way to get a feel for what others think about your setup. imo mismatched wheels = ricey like a kid that can't afford the 2 extra wheels, unless of course as you stated "not done yet, but running"

i really try not to be a dick, i was just giving my impressions. the wing is gaudy as you even said. the wheels? eh, everyone is into the mismatched wheel thing these days so i figured you or the PO did it on purpose.
also as you said you take things too personally, if you want people's opinions then excpect to take good and bad, not just good. if you can't take constructive criticism then you are up for a very tough road ahead.

No it's not Turbo'd
From what I remember from the Rotary Power drift car, the wing added side to side stability and, and therefore made it a lot tougher to start drifing, so I don't know if that's what you're going for, but as a drift car the wing would hinder perfomance (yours) rather than help (the car's)...

I'll go right ahead and be a dick. I am a cop you know.
Where's the redsuns sticker? That FD must easily be worth 50k because it is right hand drive. You must look cool reaching across the center console when you go to a drive-thru. People who put the time and money into registering a RHD vehicle that is offered in the states in the fitst place is nothing but a poser.

Two things..........
1. I'll say this about my man Fu. He is far less beligerant than the average uniform driving a black and white motorcycle.
2. Cooldude. Sent you a PM regarding your wheels. Hope it proves helpful. And, regarding that wing, watch out for beligerants such as .
