New and Improved Autobacs Thread!
Speaking of this Fridays autobac meet, I evited someone thats got an original "pristine" 1980 LS. This one has the original tires on it still. If he does make it, then you'll have to wait another 2 weeks to see my the new fc cause I'd have to bring the SA for photo ops with the LS. Thats so cool to have the 2 limited production rx7's in 1980 in mint condition at the autobac meet.

MY FC JUST PASSED SMOG WITH FLYING COLORS...YEAY!!!!!!
But wtf is that Evap test. It been a while since I got a "real" test but apparently they now test the fuel tank and fuel lines and charge an additional $10.
But sorry to the guys that came out to Torrance last Saturday. Fricken hurricane katrina came through here and we ended up cruising thru flood waters with your 3 inch clearance 7's. I'm pissed cause I finally got some of you to come out here and that happens. Then got the worse service at Denny's, and 45D hydroplaned all the way home. Then Note and Ken with 2 hours sleep each since Thursday had to drive home in the floods at 3 in the morning. Don't worry guys, no more great idea's from me ne more.

Couldn't be worse than me. I led about 7-8 RX-7's through snow... We barely made it out.
love that shot ken, but it would be better if it was focused on my car ;-)
i finally looked under my car today and found out that the diffuser has been scraped to hell, the one screw on the back came loose while on the freeway on the way back from Leon's and had to screw it back in with my make-shift screwdriver (T_T)

Ryu, are you still trying to intall the stock one? or did you get another one?
The Stock one just hooks up to the back of the intake piping then to the pipe above the turbo with a vacuum line to the back of the Upper Intake Manifold. Check the FSM for the vacuum diagram it's in there.

But right now, yes, I'm trying to get the stock one back up. Car refuses to idle still. I have the stock bov plugged into the back of the intake, then the small vacuum hose plugged up top, and the big hose from the metal pipe going to the intercooler into the other end of the bov. I noticed it ran better last night when I started it... something might just not be clamped down right or something..
Hopefully I have the greddy one on by friday night.

good to know things are working out for your car. hey max did they snort wasubi at your meet to? that **** was hilarious. oh and james if your giving them away I'll take em.
I have another, but looks like we're going to have to do some custom welding to get it on... I have to cut the adapter off the flange and weld it onto the stock pipe... or figure out some other way to do it.
