I'm about to pick up a 1987 FC turbo and am planning on making some minor performance mods such as Rtek 2.1 and a BNR stage 1 turbo.

I understand to take advantage of such mods I'd need larger injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump.

I just moved to CA so I'm not used to having such stringent smog tests so I was wondering if the mods I listed would pass visual.

Also, if someone could add other things to watch out for in making the minor performance mods in passing visual and sniffer I'd appreciate. Thanks!

 

There is no need to worry about smog when you have Wackyracer. He takes care of everyone in Cali with smog certificates. Please PM him when you are ready.

 

Well I don't just worry about passing smog, but if in the rare chance I get stopped by cops I want all my parts to either look stock (i.e. BNR stage 1 turbo) or have carb stickers/exemptions.
