That's the thing, people file complaints ALL THE TIME. But because you still have the random idiot that kills someone in a street race then the laws aren't going to relax at all. And what really kills me is that these street racing deaths are not in an import car 95% of the time. And of those 5% of imports only about .75% is in an import sports car!!!!!!!!!!!! But yet we get screwed on the deal.

DCrobsy, you're right with your post for the most part. The one thing that you didn't know is that I'm still subject to NC state vehicle laws since NC is still my home of record. One of the best perks to being in the military.

 

ahh shoot. Im about to look into exhaust systems for my stock 12aFB. Done the research but its kinda iffy being in CA. Will I be safe with the RB setup? Nothing windowshattering loud, just a quiet deep tone.

I had a Titanium JIC cat back.. only weigh 8lbs. SOLD it because I didn't want to deal with them cops.. So now I got a RB exhaust dual Tip... I like it alot.. had 1 before... looks stock too so its a good thing

 

That story reminds me of that cop at the freeway entrance when we left TI to SF during rotaryfest. Appx 5 loud *** rotaries @ full blast at the freeway entrance (there is a stop sign you know!!!) Luckily, the CHP was giving someone a ticket. Otherwise, we would have been screwed for modified exhaust regardless old school or not.
