Need T2 Transmission Rebuild Quote

Looking to revamp some parts for my build and first on the list is making sure my tranny is good to go prior to install.

Have any locations within So Cal that offer good work at a good price?

Anaheim Gear is the place you want. Near Ball Road and 57 Freeway. A good place assuming you're doing your own R&R work.

^ Thanks Hozz, the plan is to drop it off, have them inspect/replace seals and whatever is needed.

Once done, I can bolt it up to the motor and we're set, ready for drop in.

gonna be pricey, be prepared. rebuild parts alone run about $500 for the TII and still won't fix munched syncro gear mesh teeth on the hard parts.

^ Damn, thanks for the heads up. Talked about things a couple of days ago with my buddies, he did state that repairs would be in the $450-500 range.

Now regarding those synchros...whats the alternative to getting those taken care of? Assuming that mine are bad *crosses fingers*

This was actually a tranny given to me from Fris at Lucky 7 as a replacement to my original. Looking forward to using it, but just want to be positive it's in good shape.

Trust Anaheim Gear to do it right, and not do more than needed. The last thing you want to do is put handcuffs on what they do.

That said, expect more like $550-$600 parts and labor. But the level at which they back up their work is crazy good. I took an NA tranny they rebuilt almost 2 years later regarding a syncro that seemed to be acting up and they re-did it no charge.
