How about in all the classifieds you have to put up the state initials when you start a classifieds thread so everyone knows what state the goods or seller is in. I think it would make it a ton easier to search through the classifieds and not have to open threads that have no designation only to find the goods are states away. Im more talking about all the classifieds, but it can work in the west classifieds as well seeing as its not just california in here LOL. I know i scroll through the classifieds and have seen parts id like to pick up like engines that the seller wants onky local pick ups for. Ill go in the thread only to find the seller is in alabama or something lol. I know you can already put the initials but i think it should be mandatory.

 

Natey- Absolutely a summer meet would be sweet.

Rotary Bobby -Unfortunatelly the way the forum is laid out its intended for each classsifed to be used in that region. so if people outside the region post they should be relocated if they want the forum to see they need to post in the general section

But still a great Idea how about sellers and buyers start putting City location in the AD for example.

cleaning up classifieds would be a help reduce wasted time by members looking at "old news"

^ we currently have WHiV in Vegas (working out details for WHiV8 now) in the spring, many folks from various states attend including Cali as well as Vendors

Cleaning up of the classifieds is something I been trying to do but I need everyone to come together and close their old threads or post SOLD at the end. That way when I check random threads I see it and close it as well.

On classified maybe make them valid for x amount of days then folks have to relist,same as online auctions

 

west forum is dead so bring back the post count and kill the mod's ability to edit any post/censorship. West forum should be fun like back in days.

I second encouraging sellers or WTBers post what city they're in, especially if they're looking for something big like a body part.

Seems like the whole forum in general ain't what it used to be.i build a lot of old school cars and would post up a lot of builds but now I don't post as much seems like no ones interested in them.
