Exclamation need help fast!!!!

do i need to keep the air pump on or can i take it off? or do i need it?

If you have an s5 N/A you need it.

^ Agreed, if it's an S5 non turbo you need it to activate the 5th and 6th ports.

You will also need it if you have any catylitic converter's on your car as well as if you don't want a fix it ticket.
You will also need it if you need to pass smog as well as it's another good idea to keep it if you only have a single pulley alternator. Otherwise your running only 1 belt on your waterpump which can slip at higher RPM's and cause the car to get hot.

Keep it on because it is used to open the 5th and 6th port's.
