I take my car to Premier Automotive in South El Monte.
While I've NEVER had a paint job done, they are well known w/ the Lexus community.
They use PPG paints and have A VERY CLEAN paint booth (not sure if PPG manufacturers the paint booth or not, but the PPG label is on the booth). The local dealerships such as Cadillac frequently send their cars over there to be touched up or have bumpers painted.
There were a few cars from D1 that had a photoshoot at the shop. And one of the guys from D1, who happend to obtain a full sponsorship from T&E (the Soarer) had his stock car built to D1 specs. I know they were building/assembling the upcoming Turbonetics drag car.
They also do quite a bit of work repairing cars. From welding half cut cars together to simple suspension work. They also do motor swaps (non-rotary).
The number for Premier Automotive is 626-401-1464. Ask for Kennedy (he's the owner). Tell him that Dominic w/ the gold SC referred you. He can be hard to get ahold of because he is always in the paint booth or running errands. He also has a lot of cars come in and out.
While I admit I don't necessarily take care of my cars in the best manner, I do know who to take them to if I want something done.
