Need to find a new home for a 79 SA...(northern AZ)
I picked up a red 79 SA about a year and a half ago and ended up with too many other projects so I couldn't focus at all on that one...
I'll try to get some pics in later this afternoon...and the mileage and whatnot..
The car did run for a few minutes when I drove it off the tow truck after it was dropped off at my house when I bought it. The driver's front fender doesn't match (but is red - from a newer FB), and the original glass sunroof is missing. From what I understand the metal and glass sunroofs for the 79/80 are interchangeable.
It does have rims that were described to me as "tornado" rims...they look like what was on the A-Team van... I'm pretty sure they are 14's...I'll double check when I had back to Cottonwood, AZ in a few hours.
I'd definately recommend it being towed back in its current state.
I have the title for it, and it would make a good candidate for tons of parts, or a restoration - I just no longer have the room or time to focus on it.
If someone is interested in a buy or trade (for STI parts? Anything for a 91-97 Land Cruiser?)- send me an email ( CodyLX450@aol.com ).
If I had more time to spend with the car I'd probably part it out on ebay for a lot more...but to sell it whole I guess I'd take $200?
I also have a set of 86 FC "phone dial" rims I'd just throw in if someone wanted them..
Pics coming shortly...
