Need advice on TII

There is a AE TII on ebay that I am pretty interested in. I messaged the guy when he first posted it like 5 days ago wondering how much he wanted for it. Well he recently told me to offer him a new price on it because he relized he was asking to much. The car supposivley has 80k on it, body has a dent with a decent size paint chip right around it. Also the headlight cover on the driver side basically has no paint on it, it looks like it peeled away. The drivers seat has a big tear in the arn parts and is exposing a good portion of the padding.

I did a ebay motors history report and there were no reports I saw going past 1993, and in 1993 it has 50,xxx miles, and was being used as a lease vehicle. So it seems a little funny for it to only gain 30,000 miles in 12 years.

I would like some expert advise and would like to know how much you guys would pay for it, and if it would be considered a safe bet.

Guy said he had stopped the registration and it has been sitting in his garage for 6-7 years.

first he wanted 3,700. Then I talked him to 3,000 just recently. I couldn't make the 400 mile trip there and back on my only day off though, also the car isn't registered so there is no way he could meet me half way for me to inspect it. It is tempting, but it is kind of too inconvinient right now I guess.

why is it hard to make a 400 mile trip if you really want it? of course the guy would have to be honest about the condition but that is usually the way with rarer cars like the AE to have to travel to be sure you want it.

i bought my car in LA, made the 478 mile each way trip and was back by the evening.

Lol, you taught me everything I need to know. But seriously, I think my first mod should be some high performance cams. Would a Vtec head swap onto a turbo II???
