Hello my 1990 gxl was stolen friday night from my work. I work at NASSCO right on harbor dr and 28th in san diego. my car is black with black interior and is sitting on some 16 inch meshies. sorry to hear about this, have you checked all the tow yards first? Did you report it? I live in N. SD, i will keep an eye out, you should post pics up also..

 

yeah i checked i called sdpd and harbor police since theyre the only ones allowed to tow in that area but nothing...and even the officer said its been a really long time since hes heard of a 7 being stolen...

Did you blur your license plate when you were advertising it on CL? I remember seeing this car on there for sale.

bah i had a friend who's car was stolen in TJ and they saw i,t and reclaimed it, 3 months later driving the freeway in East LA. Some friends bikes too stolen in San Diego (3 of them), frames found up in the San Fernando valley...the car could just as well be up here, possibly stolen by the same peeps stealing all these other cars.
People in general should be wary about saying where your car is located on this forum because you do not have to be logged in to check out this section.

His odds on recovering the car are a lot greater if it's still in the US, was my point. Recovery odds if it crosses the border are about zero.

oh sorry, my point was just that of the only 4 vehicles I have known of being stolen in SD ( one in TJ itself) were found in LA. not to worry much about it being in Mexico

thanks guys and no i didnt blur the plates...my mistake i guess its just that nobody really messes with these cars cus they dont know much about them...but i mean its been a couple days already so chances are that its in tj somwhere being stripped or being drove around...this sucks

 

i live in imperial beach i will keep an eye out for it...but still GLW recovery bro...thats really too bad

GLW recovery, that are isn't safe at all, FC and FD get stolen/broken into all the time.
