IMO-traditional education is great(not For me) If you want to be a worker bee.
"Mainstream Business world".
This is probably the case for 90% of the population, Thus getting educated and getting certified as Xyz is a great thing. How interesting cause with in the 90% a high %age of these people are not happy with their Jobs.
In short **** the system!!!!!!!!!!

like its great to get a degree......don't get me wrong.

but for someone like me that literally can not learn in the form of traditional schooling its a waste of time and money....i find myself bored and just not showing up.....i need to do things myself to be able to learn them......

i never want to be part of mainstream corporate America so it will likely never effect me that i don't have a degree.....**** when i look for a job all i hear is that im overqualified as it is.....

as mikey said 99% of the population getting a degree from an accredited school is the best thing they can do.....

What drama? A debate about something isn't drama.

Definitely! When I say it's about your goals, nobody goes to graduate school to become a master mechanic. Master mechanics may change their outlook and decide to become engineers for BMW, which a degree is helpful, but it's all about your outlook and goals/dreams. I wasn't trying to be confrontational when I mentioned Teddy/school school school etc. Without putting out his business, I simply gave him advice that I think he took into serious consideration.

I guess my outlook is that you can always fall back on it. It's not an absolute and there are plenty of people who do well without it. For example, my parents both make six figures with high school/vocational training. Both have over 100 employees and not a lick of MBA in them. I'm proud of that.

I never truly enjoyed school, even though I'm good at it. Like the military, people thought I would be a "lifer" because of my performance. My chain was shocked when I told them to get fucked, I was tired of the BS, and I'm out on Wednesday (Friday afternoon).

*raises hand* Been through every type of lame *** talented/gifted BS class, bored in class so I talked, and fell asleep in some. Honestly, I learned in college to be "okay", but I couldn't handle every other idiot who wanted to talk about their life. I just want to get the material/assignment and leave. Not hear about your ******* cat or how your kid busted his head open. I simply left quite a few times and was called later by the instructor. "Did you have an emergency?" Yeah, I was going to blow my brains out if I heard about Jaime's cat Nebuchadnezzar going nuts over the construction at her house....

Night school is MUCH worse with that sort of thing.

Hey man, no worries. Lessons from somebody else who's traveled the path was always appreciated on my end. I only try to reciprocate. Sometimes a little encouragement is all you need to keep your head above water and focused. In the same sense, I appreciate the rotary game/knowledge from your end and any body else out here in Cali.

On a less serious note,........ I so want to import a R34 GT-R body from Kaizo Industries. Who wants to go half-sies??? We'll build it and have joint custody. Every other week, holidays, and alternate summers!

Who's game?

Senior year was a joke. I had 11 credits more than needed from Japan to graduate in MI. I was forced to take two classes; AP English 12 and a freshmen geography/world cultures class. They wouldn't let me test out... what a waste.
