Moving to Cali...........
Moving to Cali as stated before in an earlier thread next summer. I would like to know.........what exhaust(front to back) are you guys running thats more closely to the CARB laws? I know the emission laws are less strict when living in the more densely populated areas, so moving to central Cali wont be too bad.
Thanx

Your catback should be ok as long as it's not too loud. But the header and midpipe will fail you in a heartbeat. Going to need to throw the stock stuff back on there for your SMOG. Unless you find a county that doesn't do SMOG. There are a couple of places scattered throughout NorCal like that.

ok any other suggestion. I dont have my stock stuff anymore, did away with that in 2002 after selling my 1st gen for this one. Isnt there any headers that are excempt from the CARB laws like hooker headers or something? I just purchased an aftermarket CARB cat from a company in Mass. Will be replacing my midpipe with that.

actually Vermont is one of the most expensive state to live in. My wife from Cali and wants to move back. No theres not much to do up here, being im from Long Island NY. We visit her family twice a year and checking prices in central Ca, its cheaper to live there then here.
