LS1 is the way to go. Talk to Hinson himself, at www.hinsonsupercars.com for the hook up.

More props for that guy. Good, honest work. I thought for sure I needed a rebuild, but he found and solved the problem for a fraction of the cost. Whew!

Another vote for Karack from me! I couldn't think of a better person to take a rotary to.

And to Z28, he said he wanted a rebuild. He didn't mention that he wanted to bastardize his car. Go way heathen!

Buddha, long time no see bro. How have you been??

actually that's not true at all. As long as the motor still have all smogging equipment (egr, smog pump, cat, etc. etc...), you can still pass CA visual and the dyno smog.
Personally I wouldn't do it, just because of the hassle and cost.

If the motor (and smog equpment) is all there and out of a newer year car than the one it goes into it is legal. If I had the drive train out of a 02 camaro my car will have to pass all of the 02 camaro smog tests.

You will also most likely be sent to a smog ref. if you pass they will give you a ref sticker and from then on you only have to go to a regular shop.

I have a lot of friends with hot rods and hondas who have done this recently.
