Thumbs up Well that was fun!

Great event even though we had to slum with some of the other cars like the $1.8 million Bugatti.

Great hooking up with some of my FD brothers and sister.

Special thanks to Meiogirl for hooking this all up.

Side comment, the FD folks had to brave a snow blizzard to get there. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hozz speaks the truth. We drove from Temecula to Palm Springs, but had to drive thru the mountains. I had no idea of the elevation (4000+ ft) or potential for snow. When we drove through Anza, we could see the snow in the mountains in the distance... then we ended up driving through it. I don't recommend that to anyone, I was actually freaked out by it, all three of the cars had good summer rubber on them... it could have been much worse. Thankfully we got out OK. Here's a quick vid of our snow drive (mdpalmer took vid, talking crap, meiogirl driving):

Another quick vid of FDSeoul's car spitting flames, this was after we descended out of the mountains back to Palm Springs/La Quinta... it took me 10 minutes of following him to get the shot... hence my schoolgirl giggle, yes I sound retarded, I don't even think I was speaking english there

I took a lot more pics and some vids, I'll post up later.

Charlie those pictures don't even look real it was so clear out there Sunday.

The event was tiring and fun at the same time. I'm sure its been awhile since my car has seen that many miles in one weekend. Thanks so much guys for representing! Would not have been the same without you all.

That hotel was the bomb, we have to make an excuse to go back out there in the fall when it cools down again.

Thumbs up Nice event

Fisa,

I agree it was a great time; however, I was spent when I got home Sunday night. Great event, nice hotel, and lots of fun spending some time with good friends. Coming back up the mountain (without the snow), was AWESOME! I am not sure Gene was feeling too good though, as I don't think the passengers feel too good when they have NO CONTROL on the car and where it is going.

Still waiting on pics from Mr. FDSeoul...

Charlie

I put my pics in my gallery, CLICK HERE

They didn't turn out very well, I have a 1 MPxl camera lens on my video camera Now, let's talk about meats in the rear. This, ladies and gentlemen is the definition of meats in the rear:

Notice the diffuser, dolphin tail exhaust, and heat-exit grille on the rear of the car. Pretty cool. Not exactly worth $1M+ USD IMHO but if you got it, and have 1000 hp on tap, flaunt it I guess

Hideous wheel gap + 365 meats-in-rear

Us @ the hotel, sans Hozzman:

Lesson in ducting? This is a 997 model GT2 Porsche BTW.

Notice how the oil cooler in the side of the car are slanted. Also notice the other passageways slotted behind the coolers and the extra slots in the bumper next to the radiator... hmmm.

You'd think for a megabuck, Bugatti could at least cough up a frigging plate frame.
