Jesse,

Yep, I will be gone by the time you get back. I do have my GT3574 installed now. Just a few more items to correct and then off to tune!

I think this is going to be one of the events of all events to attend, just knowing that Japaneses Imports are going to raid the domestic and Euro classic scene has got me all Emotional. I am submitting my entree form as we speak.

Given the fact that RX-7s will be parking with exotics and other expensive and rare rides, I am suspecting that we will be frowned upon by many...

Great catch on the video.

You know, in the video I recognize a lot of those cars from Cars n Coffee. Especially at the beginning of the video. But the video does put into perspective the expectations for any car entered for display as to their definition of "clean" and presentation with class.

Obviously no expectations for Best of Show, but in this case it's primarily about providing a polished representation of our area of enthusiasm. If you have a nice exterior, interior, and extra bonus if showy underhood presentation there should be no second thoughts about if your car is worthy to be in such company.

I'm kenneling my dogs Saturday morning around 8am so any meetup after 9ish would be cool. The concours drive is from 9:30am to 12 in Palm Springs if anybody wanted to catch that. However we could do a cruise out there.
I know John 10yearrx7 said the 371/74 is a cool drive, however if its snowy or been snowing probably not the best route.
Its a straight shot so we would not have to stay close together. Perhaps designate a couple of stopping points to make sure everything is ok and move on.
We could meet in Temecula at that mall, I don't remember the name of it.

OR the 10 and we meet in Moreno Valley somewhere.

I'm curious what the responses will be. I bet there will be more " I used to own one of these" than I expect.

Seeing the pics of cars at previous shows, I am now a lot less apprehensive. While I hope that most comments will be along the lines of "oh, I used to own one back in ...", I am sure we will still here some "why is that car even here".

I will be filling out my application shortly, so we will see if I am too far past the deadline.

Hey meiogirl I have been committed to that date to be in the Las Vegas. I met you at Cars & Coffee in Irvine and you mentioned the event. If anything changes I’ll be there. Make it a cruise downtown Palm Springs "day" for those who don’t want to pay or cars that are not in show condition..... it would be cool.
Have fun!

Oh yes, I remember you. Man all you have to do is have an FD in an empty parking lot and other FD owners will show up, lol. If you don't make it out come to one of the other meets.

Just finished a week out of town for work, and am trying to work out if I can get free. Might have the carb out at that point, too... smog check coming up.

Looks like I missed the cutoff anyway... But I'll try putting in for it. What "Club name" did everyone use on their form?

They said the invite to the gallery for Friday night should be the best indication you are on the mailing list.

Darn I just saw your post otherwise I would have asked her about your entry.

I think RX7 club. She (Dorothy not Pamela) has been overwhelmed with car corral entries this year so is a bit behind. You might try calling them directly to see if they have room.

Note.

The Friday night reception is free for Corral participants. The Saturday reception is the one with the $25 cover.
