Mazfest registration open: Autocross & track cal speedway
"You're still in the group that is predominately Mazdas [Blue 2]. Between now and [the event], we're going to move all intermediate Mazdas into that group and we should probably have enough finally to fill the group.
As far as garages go, they are basically first-come/first served and unfortunately, they're all sold out at this point (have been for about 5 days). There might be a designated pitting area for MazFest, though. That still has to be determined."

Hope everything works out.See you Saturday.
That was really fun. I showed up late with meiogirl and Jamie and Greg. I couldn't bear to sit and watch, so I bought into two sessions for the day
Car ran great. Feels a bit slower with the cat converter on it (last event I took it out, seriously felt like instant 15 hp gain), but it's all good. Weather was very nice, not a cloud in the sky, not too windy, was surprised it wasn't hotter, this site says it got to 92 1/2*F. Got to meet some cool people today too and ride along in Wan's car. That fool can drive, very impressed man, good job! Also want to thank Speedventures, they are WAY better organized and have a much better customer relations kind of attitude as compared to Redline time attack or whatever they call themselves these days.
I didn't see Jesse (real.chicken) or John (whodatrx7) though, where were you guys at?
See you guys next time
EDIT: to those of you who saw the yellow FD that had a big time oil fire... did anyone have a chance to talk to the driver/owner/mechanic in detail about what happened? I walked over there to look, and it looks like one of the fittings on the oil line busted loose and hot, pressurized oil went everywhere... you should have seen the REAR bumper on that poor FD, it was practically melted
They were using the aeroequip fittings and what looked like stainless steel braided lines. You would think that would be a solid setup.. how could that have gone wrong?
