Does that mean I beat out the FD's too? When they called me up they announced it as "best classic rx7..." I was stoked because this is pretty much my only shot at an RX7 award. We all know they'd never give me best FC at SevenStock. Too much rotary bias.

Showed up a bit after noonish. I was driving for the last few sessions, not pushing it, just getting a few break-in laps and getting a feel for it.

 

Haha, if you thought that was fun, just wait till I can actually floor it and get the new cam, tune, accusump, suspension bushings/pillowballs/alignment!!!

Yeah, I'm so glad I went.

 

Hey guys, nice to see you again and meet some new folks. I was pretty pissed about my blown, oil leaking shock. Thanks WAN for letting me know. I will take it out tomorrow, but I think it's the one I scratched the piston rod when I was installing it... I talked to the on-site Tockico rep and he told me that is a sure fire way to blow the oil seals on the shocks. Oh well. I got two sessions out of it anyway. Fisa had a good time, she got a lot more track time than me I will say that I really like the track and facility, it's close by and is not that demanding on your car (as compared to Buttonwillow, say). I think the best part of my day before I found out about my blown shock was the $5 cheeseburger I had at the concession stand.

And for those of you that hung out in the mdpalmer/meiogirl 12'x12', you're welcome
