I had fun chasing him around I'll be prepared with a reliable camera next event. I was bummed I didnt get any footage this time around. Not even a single picture with my camera . That plastic piece was half of Anjew's R1 lip

 

Mazfest was fun. What was under the hood of that silver miata with flares? The blue Speed World Challenge 6 couldn't pass him.

 

Yeah, that was half of my R1 lip. I forgot to bolt it back down with my undertray so it was only held on by the clips and one bolt on each side.

This was probably the fastest closed-wheel car there.

 

Unfortunately, my friend dropped the camera right after my first run, so we didn't get any footage. I was in the intermediate group, and he was in novice to do the lead/follow the first session.

Of course when you don't film something of intrest happens DIRECTLY in front of you!

what suspension are you using?

 

I'm just trying to get the car dialed in before I swap in an LS1.

I'm running BC coilovers with 8K/6K springs, RB swaybars and endlinks, solid rear subframe and diff bushings, and Nexen 235/40/17 tires all around.

I have the individual rear camber adjusters, DTSS eliminators and poly front control arm bushings sitting in the garage.

I think I'm going to try the Suspension Techniques rear sway bar. The car has a bit of on power understeer.

 

Hey, you do any auto-x or just track events?

 

I have done some auto-x and rally-x before with other cars. This car would do ok in an auto-x and I'll probably come out and try it with you guys.

damn I so wish I had gone got stuck at work then moving furniture. Next track day I try to make just need to get the fc back together. And johnson that was close man glad you didn't hit that wall. Next time we're at the track together I'll have to see if I can't still stay ahead of you.
