Leaving around 7-8PM Sat eve after running a few laps with my son around the OC Dromo1.

 

What's the official lineup for Saturday and Sunday? I wanted to get my girlfriend into a car for a ride and scare the crap out of her. She thinks I drive crazy so I know I'll need to put her in either Dave Lemon's car or with Bob Neal just to show her that I AM SLOW. Are there passenger rides available on Sunday too?

All the rides are going to be on sunday. Dave Lemon will be giving rides in his Pro7 racecar. Unfortunatly, Bob Neal's E Production car doesn't have a passenger seat...but I'm still going to try to hitch a ride I'll be giving rides in my NASA PT car, although I'm nowhere near as fast as Dave or Bob.
Make sure your girl gets a ride with Dave-it will either scare the crap out of her, or she will get hooked on racing, like I did...

 

The race car passenger car rides are for Sunday only. REDLINE does allow passengers for their HPDE, so if anyone on Saturday wants to take a passenger, I'm sure they'll be allowed, but the main RACE CAR ride event is on SUNDAY!

RXGirl and Berny, thanls for the heads up. Hopefully I can have the bearings on my axles replaced by Friday and drive up rotary stylie, most likely it will be Honduh stylie. Sorry to dissapoint.

1 RX-8 leaving OC (after running at Dromo1) around 3PM picking up an FD in LA around 4PM on way to BW. Will try for dinner at Willow Ranch. PM w/ cellphone if you want a call an hour before we reach your location. Then another call 15 min before we join up on the freeway. The cars ahead will drop down to the #3 lane until cars behind catch up, then #1 lane, etc., 'till there.

there are nasty dust storms!! and its hot!

 

I used to live on the high desert and that alkaline dust is really fine and gets into everything. Looks like I'll be prepped to clean my air filter, if needed. Thanks for the heads up!
