I know i hear what your saying. But for sure I will be at the event coming this May 18th. I have been wanting to run riceburner1 for a good hot sec. Where the hell are the rest of the rotaries at. I guess if the event is not with anyone's locations no one wants to make the effort to go. That sucks!!!

to drive 100 miles to a 1/8th on a test & tune night hell no it aint worth it ,but to drive 100 miles for a import pay out event i will drive any day to me its about showing some support to the people that take time and put an efort on doing something for the sport, win ,loose or draw it dont mater to me i can go and run 10.90 ,9.00 or 6.5 and load up the car in the trailer and go home happy. lakeland fl its and 1/8th and that track has seen most fastest imports in the world ,on any given test and tune night there is more people in lakeland than there is in orlando speedworld 1/4 mile track and lake land is 50 miles away from orlando, so that excuse that its only an 1/8th aint gonna fly . thats why NOPI dont come to cali because they see the turn out of the nhra sport compact events and wont even bother with us , now dont take this personal GOOFYROTOR or WACKY this is not towards you guys personally its towards everybody in general i know that for some work is an issue i mean i am in my shop from 0630 to 2000 every day so i know what it is to not have time but some have time and still show no support but are really good @ being forum comandos

So the west has no heart for Draging the length of a onramp LMFAO.......I dont know if you just moved here or what, but we have very few 1/4 tracks around, Pamona is basiclly closed to everyone BUT the NHRA, palmdale is on the way to closing down soon, CA speedway is about it for run what ya brung 1/4. I wouldnt drive to ANY 1/8 mile track, why bother? For an 1/8 mile, you kidding right?! LOL, I do that at every stop light, so I dont see the fun in driving to the IE for 660 FT of pavement when there is almost as much rubber on a few local spots to try out once in awhile. The canyons far outwieght the straights and are twice as fun in a mid level car. IMO dragging gets boring real quick, unless your atleast in the 12's. If we really wanted to plan something CA speedway has the best 1/4 IMO. But really who are we kinding, is a 7 really a car designed for straight line fun? Might as well take a ***** fishing.

yeah banning is a joke, he says it will be ready by june or july, i keep going by there and for some reason he says they have to wait 30-60 days on something about owls living there, they did a great job taking the 10 mill from the people

like i stated before no heart for drag racing the wait in funtycky ubsurd ,and lets not even get into irwindale, palmdale is not bad if you wanna crash your car bakersfield is of the hook and so is sears point . thats why most of the guys in this forum claim to have 500-600 hp go out the the strip and run a 12.90 -13.00 1/4 mile cause they never when out to the 1/8th and tuned their suspension then they bitch and moan about "my 60' where 2.50 how can i fix that"
