During my 1000 miles, I just took it nice and easy. I figured it would be worth the wait.

There is a very easy way to do it DK. Think about all the **** you have gone through over the past year or so with your FC. That should help you realize that one little itch to blip the throttle and check the boost out is not worth another year or two like the past one. Also if you thoroughly break in the engine you will get a lot better compression as a result which means your car will be faster.

What ecu are you running anyhow? If you are running a stand alone and have not been tuned for more than break in then you are risking popping your engine at anytime if you are boosting. Take it easy for awhile, get a compression check at 1000 miles and then if the compression is good (not so so or just ok but Good) then you can get a final tune/settings or if you are on a stock ECU you can start pushing the car.

Good luck!

stock s4 turbo ecu.. Theres a fuel cutoff at 5psi right? I think Im going to run without the knight sports fcd to be on the safe side.. yeah Im just driving like grandma, Im getting the hang of it.. shifting super early .. I think its nice, im actualy getting decent gas mileage now haha. I get reved at at least 2 times a day lol I dont do anything back I just drive like grandma. Is this dicipline!?! lol hahaha

quick question, Im trying to get my speedometer to work again. The cable is hooked up from the cluster to thespeed sensor in the tranny. But its not working. I unbolted the cable from the speed sensor, and there was nothing in between the two parts. Whats the part look like in between the speedometer cable and speed sensor gear [bolted on the rear of the tranny] is there supose to be like a small pin or something?

if you have a boost gauge dont past the 0!!! thats what i did. it only took me few weeks to break it in, like 2 or 3...

I dont recomend removing the knight sports FCD. It will allow you to over boost which is not great but can be controlled if you install a inner silencer in your muffler that is if you have not or do not want to port your internal wastegate. If you remove the FCD and you overboost then you will hit Fuel cut which means fuel is cut from the engine leaving it very lean which can then cause you to knock, detonate, or blow your engine.

Get a power FC and be done with it. Power FC's have been showing up on here for 5bills or so lately. You will be soooooo much happier with a power FC and a tune.

Oh also congrats on keeping your cool and not reving back or racing any of the local ricers trying to hit you up hehehe.
