It felt like forever when I had to break in my engine for 2000 miles. But I did it, without any "condomless incidents," as Brismo puts it.

I highly doubt this was a one time boost run, none the less bye bye warranty.

Baby it from here on out and you should be ok. Break it in as long as it takes to get good compression numbers. Just because you hit 1000 miles is not the key point. Some engines take much much longer to break in.

Daddy will not be happy to hear that the build he funded is now void because of your inability to wait.

Good luck with the rest of break in and remember to take it EASY!!! Clutch kicks not allowed as this is also very hard on a fresh build not just the clutch and mission but the engine as well. The kicks vibrations carry through the E-shaft and into the rotor bearings, and on. Lend the car to your mom or grandma as Asian women are ideal for break in hahahaha/

enough guys.. im sure his motor is fine.
You guys swear like he pegged it to redline.

hell did mazda break in motors when these cars where new?

hes just excited to finally have a good running car after all the expensive mistakes he did. He knows he would get in trouble anyways if he opens it up wop.

drove another good 100 miles today, babied it all the way. I wired the white striped dash wire to the water temp sensor on the iron, and Now I have the stock water temp gauge working ! This motor runs really cold, even in the after noon. I rewired the whole Efan setup with thicker wire, and a led light switch to let me know that the efan is on/off. Its awesome.. Im just loving it right now.. Its very reliable, it starts up everytime, it idles perfect at 750 rpm, its quiet, a biker cop looked at me today and didnt even pull me over. My friends love the new engine color. [Thank you Fris]. I drove my fc to a Buisness Briefing with some of the millionare CEOs there and yeah, they like my car.. yeah its just so awesome so far. I had a compliment at the gas station too. Its just so perfect right now.. All Ireally need is interior and a new front windshield...
