hey guys i have a question, My car just turned louder all of a sudden. If you watch the video of my car running the first day I got it on Monday, its silent, well 4 days later its loud. I checked my exhaust everything is tight, no leaks. Is it normal during break in for the engine to become louder? Im at around 280miles of break in, the engine doesnt flood anymore, and starts everytime. It runs perfect. But yeah its louder now...is this normal? or did my muffler get blown??? I have a fujitsubo...

First thing I was going to say was check for exhaust leaks, especially around the manifold to where the cats should be. But if you've already done this and no to avail, I have no idea why it would suddenly get louder.

congrats on gettin it finalized and drivable..

as a friend tho, i seriously think your car was good looking back in teh S4 AIT bodykit days.. back when you jus painted ur car gold and had sportmax wheels.. you joined vrt and discovered drifting and the car's overal looks just went to **** right there, then the tickets $$$ and problems started.. jus dont let the whole "fawk the world im a street drifter" mentality get cha man.

i think my muffler's inner packing is all crispyed away. My rear bumper is starting to melt from the exhaust. Maybe that explains the loudness. I dont think its the motor, the motor runs perfect and strong. I checked my whole exhaust setup, gaskets are good.. I guess I just fried my muffler lol. Its old anyways ..Well at least I answered my own qs lol haha.

Yeah I didnt want to mold my fenders because I knew If I hit a cone or something and crack it Itd be hard to replace, just rivet on is easiest to replace. Im not targeting for show car, aiming for drift, and functionality of different wheels and tires I can use without rubbing and w/es.

congrats man. Lucky 7 did my rebuild little less then a year ago. Great guys to work with, did an awesome job to. I even had a real shitty coolant leak like 2 weeks after, they took a look at it for free and fixed the problem (cracked hose on one of the new ones that were placed on the engine). I lucked out on the break in tho as i was commuting from Long Beach to Twentynine Palms every weekend so it only took me a couple weeks before i was good. Anyways enjoy!
