So I have a transmission that is working but it's slowly losing life. I want to get it rebuilt but maybe a little bit better than stock if possible. So I am looking for a rebuild shop that can do that for me. Specs on the car, mostly stock except for a ported throttle body and apexi N1 exhaust with Managaflow tips ( 91 vert). Anyone know a good shop that wont make my wallet cry? Around West LA and willing to travel as far as sun valley or even close to Lucky7 or Garage life. Thanks guys and gals!

 

just get a used tranny, a rebuilt is not cheap. but if you want to burn hardearned cash, built it with mazda miata internals. Check out westside transmission in West LA.

Let me to the math for you. Investing in excess of $600 on a transmission is not a wise decision considering that a FC is worth no more than $2M if youre lucky. just kidding lol

 

But mine is worth over 9000M$! Lol. I'm just sick of going thru trannys. I am on my 5th one already.I'd rather just bite the bullet and get something that is gona last. I'll check them out!
