Looking for mechanic in bay area (now that Rick @ Pleasanton has closed shop)

Hello RX7 club (first post)
I have a 1990 RX 7 FC convertible and have been taking it to Rick's Performance in Pleasanton. However he has retired and closed up shop.
Any recommendations for a local mechanic in the bay area for regular maintenance?

Thank you so much!

Hi gracer7-rx7,
Thanks for the quick reply and help. I'll give them a call shortly!

Hopefully when my FC is tuned up, I'll try to make the next norcal meet up.

Hello there, I'm at San Leandro Mazda. I have been working on fcs for years. I have the experience and tools. Just throwing out the option.
Mr. Mazda and Sakebomb Garage are good too. 👍

Yea, it's a bummer about not being able to access Rick's mastery of the rotary engine anymore.

1 year ago I went by there asking if he could work on mine.. This is after 30 years of service. . . Literally. . . He said no. . . .He doesn't work on old FC's anymore.. . . And honestly I don't blame him. .. . .The guys got to be getting close to 60 and working on RX's is not exactly easy to do at times. .. . .I got the feeling he did simple maintenance money making items before he shut down. . . . .I wouldn't want to work on old RX's either if I was him.

Needless to say, If you need somebody to bounce questions off of, I'm in Livermore. ... Just IM me.. . .I've had a S4 for about 30 years.
