Thanks guys for the quick responses. After some searching here on the forum looks like I will go with Danzio, thanks teddy.

Any idea what I am looking at cost wise for a compete tune?

Its hard to say depends from car to car, and from customer to customer as far as what kind and type of tune he/she is trying to get, what hp levels he/she want so and so forth...Best bet call him, pick at his brain and see what you come up with...But going with danzio is your best bang for the buck...

Yup home of the 3 rotor monster sandrail...danzio know haltech like the back of their hands, expensive but its worth it. They charge 100 buck for hook up and 225 an hour for the the tune. They do mostly sandrail but occasionally tunes cars, my rx3 was the only car at the time when they tuned it, the rest are monster sandrail. They also build rotary

I agree. I am all for doing it right the first time.

Just curious, how many hours to do a tune? I am guessing 2-3 tops.

chris at danzio is the best out there for a rotary especially when you are using a haltech as the engine management.

he tuned the falken rx7 and the ntb/falken rx8.

he is located in lake elsinore like teddy already said.

he is the best there is. hands down and he is a good guy.

he is currently working on a lot of stuff mostly sand rails and i know last i saw him he said he was working on some race cars he got a contract for.

thats really going to depend on what you are doing and how in depth it will be.

the falken cars (rx7 and rx8) were there for a day but they had a couple problems with the cars over heating on the dyno and so on.

but on those cars chris built a map from the ground up.....which im doubting is where you will be going with this...

I called danzio yesterday and left a message, so I am waiting to here back. I am sure they are busy with the summer here and all the sand rail work they do. Hope its not to long of a wait to get in.

try calling during business hours. i know he is super busy but a lot of shops (and Chris isn't necessarily this way but...) if you don't call during business hours they get so busy they have a hard time getting back to voice mails.
