Looking for Bay Area RX7's
Hi all,
My name is Fenton and I'm an up-and-coming Youtuber who does POV test drives on all sorts of cars. I don't own an RX7 (yet) but I joined this forum to look for Bay Area RX7 owners who would like to be featured on my Youtube channel.
Some background on me. I've been into cars all my life, but didn't own my first "fun" car until graduating college. Since then, I've been in and out of all kinds of cars. I owned a 2004 S2000 street/track toy for a couple of years before letting it go to acquire my dream car, an original 1991 NSX, only 5 months ago. I've tracked it once and will be tracking it again in December.
I'm trying to grow my Youtube channel using any means available. I've gained over 500 subscribers in just a few months, and looking to continue the trend. One of the cars I've been seriously wanting to review is an RX7 of any generation. If any local Bay Area RX7 owners would like to get featured on my Youtube channel, let me know! I have experience with over 90 cars, and I've never had any incidents. Your car will be driven responsibly, and not at the limit.
Thanks!

Still looking for an RX7 to review if anyone is interested. Almost at 1000 subscribers now.
Here's the link to my channel.

Not to be mean but I doubt you will have much luck. I don't know many people that will lend out their car to a total stranger for his YouTube channel. But that's just me

I'm trying to coordinate a tribute to Mazda Rotary video, similar to the video I produced for the S2000. Would be great to get a handful (or more) Rotary owners to meet on a weekend morning and share thoughts on video, and then go for a quick test drive with different RX models.

I'd volunteer my turbo fc but it's in the same situation as Brody8877, lol.
By the way we are around in the bay area and have meets and events. Alot of events or meets are on Facebook or on other social media platforms.
Pm me. I can invite you to some of our meets and other groups.
I use social media almost purely for this purpose of and for the community.

I met a few of you at the Ricers meet a few weeks ago but couldn't get commitment on any RX7's to review. Seemed like most of the FD's there were LS swapped, which I'd also love to do a feature on. If anyone might be interested, let me know.
To give you an idea of the types of cars I review, I've done a 505hp Z06, 350hp 2600lb MR2, and will be reviewing a 600whp R35 GTR soon. Would love to add some RX7's to the mix.

tbkonwso coordinated the Ricer meet I believe. I had an awesome time. I'll definitely try to attend the next one.

Liability coverage follows the driver, so if I cause damage to a third party, then my insurance will cover it. If I cause damage to your car, then your comprehensive/collision coverage will apply but we can work out an agreement in advance for me to cover the deductible or something, depending on the specific situation.
If your car has a mechanical failure that's not induced by me, the driver, then I won't cover it. For example, if your engine blows and was not the result of my misuse, I won't cover it. We can use the GoPro footage as proof. If I screw up a downshift and over rev your engine into oblivion, I will own up to it.
This is all theoretical as I haven't written any sort of contract before. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. I've reviewed 30 cars now without any incidents (I don't drive past 7/10ths unless i'm on a track) and I don't expect that to change any time soon.
