I saw a 93/94 red RX-7 in the staff parking lot at Legoland today and was just wondering if the owner was on these boards.

Yea, I work there. My name is Glendon and I'm in Retail in Big Shop. My car is up on blocks in my garage right now so that's why you haven't seen it in the parking lot. Haha...

PowerStripe: Not really sure haha... I've got about half of the engine sitting next to it right now and I should buy a new radiator. We've (my dad and I) been working on it slowly... I need to reattach the exhaust too... all it has on it is the downpipe.

Cool, what are u driving now? I've been there for 2 years now and have never seen ur FD around, has she been down for that long or was i blind? haha its a small world man.

 

Naw, I bought it in... hmm.. February? I think? Bought it as a non-op... previous owner took his aftermarket parts off and gave me the stock oem parts and I've been slowly reassembling it.

I'm driving a 96 Silver Jetta right now. I parked next to you yesterday haha... At least it gets me around. Don't see the point in buying a second nice car when the RX-7 will be fine once it runs. *shrug*

 

I saw you in the red FD Friday afternoon in the parking lot. I was driving a grey Galant VR-4 coming out of the dealer overstock area at the south end of the parking lot. Small world.

 

small world indeed. 95Eclipse, were you just visiting the park? i noticed ur location is the OC. Do u have an FD also? Mazda_X, how long do u think till u get the 7 up and running? it'd be nice to chill with another O'side FD.

 

Probably around 2 months. We recently came upon a new friend who used to be a Mazda Certified mechanic ( let me drive his 91 ) and said he wants to help put my car back together but he's on a trip right now. We're hoping to get him over when he comes back.

 

My family lives in Carlsbad and I live in Orange County for school. I stopped by Legoland to see my brother who was in the car dealer overstock area in the south end of the parking lot. And yes, I own a CYM FD as well but it is in about 100 pieces at the moment and I am slowly putting it back together.

very nice, i wanted to get a CYM but could not find one for the right price, let alone in good condition. so i ended up with my R1, 58k miles on it in great condition with all the reliability mods on it. couldnt have asked for a better car. if u ever get ur car up and running pm me so we can cruise or sumthing.

 

As I was driving to work today, a black FD flew past me on the 5 going South... It looked like it had Florida plates (if that's the one with the orange on it). Recent purchase? Traveling? o.O?

 

It was I. I was heading for the border. LA MIGRA on my tail.
