LACR on Fridays - Any heads up info?
I am thinking about hitting up LACR this friday to see what my FC can do. Anything I need to look out for? Cops harassing people? Biased smog checks after the strip? Gang problems?
Only issue I might have with tech inspection is missing upper front windshield trim.
5pm-10pm $20 car&driver
spectators $5
Thanks!

I've been there quite a few times Rez. When heading or coming back on the 14, please be real careful. There are a lot of CHPs, especially since it's a Friday(from my experience).
In regards to the inspection, they usually just let imports go by but then again it may depend on how fast you state your car will do. If you put that your car runs at least 13.99, then they might want you to pop your hood. From all the times I've taken my old FD there, they never looked underneath the hood. They aren't as strict on imports in contrast to the Inspector ***** at Fontanta. I haven't been there in 2 years so i'm not sure if things have changed.
If you do plan to go, get there early as possible so that you could get almost back to back runs. It's a lot fun but the track was horrible those many times I went, hard for my tires to get traction.
There shouldn't be any gang problems. A lot of spectators are fans of the sport. Honestly, I had a more enjoyable time at LACR than Fontana.
Let us know how you do.

i live out here, and i can tell you that the CHP presence is becoming minimal because of the fact that they are switching over to airplane enforcement. there is still CHP, but its beecoming less and less every week. this isnt for the whole freeway, but a good part of it.
