junkyard report: s5's found

I went to the 2 pick your parts in Wilmington Thursday. Found an s5 at the one where you have to drive up a hill to get to the parking lot. Black, one s5 tail light in bad condition, engine and tranny intact, black interior including door panels, auto tranny. There was a gtus at the other one, red, with no engine or drivetrain. It did have aluminum hood though.

I was lucky enough to snag the diff from the GTUs. It was half price day, got the whole thing for $40.00!

90% when he saw it, <20% after he cut the interior, dented the hubcaps, cracked the glasss, added dents to the quarters.....

That was yesterday. I did a tour of LA/IE junkyards to locate a hard to find item. I think I lost 20 lbs since there is no A/C in my son's FB.

Collecting GSL/GSE short side e-brake cables for future old school rear disc brake conversions.

Blue Base S4 and black S5 ('90) Vert at Milliken. Primary thing of value still on the Vert are the window regulators. But will be a pain to get out as the windows are rolled down making it a real pita to get those 10mm nuts off to release the glass. Cool thing that WAS in it was the plastic BBS wrench for taking off the center caps.

Black S2 (GSL) and white S3 (both red interior, so finally got those interior pieced I needed) at Pyrite. I can tell Wacky was there before me. He left behind that 90% complete Peanut.
