Japanese cars of the 1970's class in La Jolla Concours April 14, 2019
The 2019 La Jolla Concours will be held at the Cove area on the cliffs The all Japanese Class announced for 2019 will focus on Japanese cars of the 1970's. We are looking for any qualified Mazda or other Japanese cars to register .
This is a Concours judged event inviting cars to register that are mainly non modified cars, or unrestored cars. Certain period accessories like wheels, tires, options will be considered. Last year the Japanese class was focused on cars of the 1960's and is was a big hit. Mazda entered their survivor Cosmo. We had these cars on the field: Datsun 240Z, Datsun 1600 roadster, Honda S600 coupe Honda S600 roadster, Mazda Cosmos, Mazda R360, Toyota 2000GT and a Toyota Sports 800. They are looking for about 10 cars to complete the field. This is a quality event with a wide variety of classic and sports car on the field and in a car corral outside the Concours area. Go to the link for attendance and registration info. https://www.lajollaconcours.com
