Irwindale speedway will be hosting friday night drift events starting July 23 from 6pm to 10pm actually 1pm early entry.

Come out and bring your rotaries for show or runs......

For this event we will bring out our Rene'sMotorSports/Rotary-Works Mazda
Rx7's 3 Rotor powered FD and FC plus other cars for demo runs and Rides....

dang why fridays!!! i work @ city of hope which is literally less than a mile distance.. guess i can just listen to the tires screeching =(

 

I was there yesterday! i took my ls7 fb to the drag strip

 

 

 

It was a cool turnout ,they sold out for drivers in less that 1 hour ,they had to kick out a few drivers because so many showed up.Took all 3 Rx7's out there.....track was small but good enough to have some fun and give rides to people plus lots of footage of the runs.

Next time they will make the track bigger plus they may add a second track for beginners....get your rotaries ready,this track was hella fun.

Sounds fun... How long are they doing this through the summer? Any tire changing facilities on site?

 

we haven't seen a tire changer there but the track is good in tire wear....we took a few spares but the first we on our cars didn't even get worn out.

 

 

i saw DK out there with the vert.....it was cool to see many rotaries out there.Cant't wait to go out there again had lots of fun.

This event was dope...great turn out and good amount of Rotaries there. Going again for sure.

glad to hear its going well, i still have a bit of miles left to go before i can run her hard so hopefully it wont go anywhere anytime soon.
