Hey, Nor Cal guys. I may have secured the Luther Burbank Center (more parking than the Rotary Fest) in Santa Rosa for a meet on the 26th (Saturday) in August.

I figure that its about time we North Bay guys step up and have a meet.

In addition, the Blood Bank of the Redwoods may provide the food, if we can get enough people to donate.

So how many people are intrested in having the meet??? Of course if you want to donate blood that would be cool too.

Suggestions???

yeah, the LBC fell through, so I got the main Lot at Sonoma State, but then the Blood bank wanted to invite all the local car clubs too, (which sort of defeats the purpose of a nor cal RX-7 meet- who wants to deal with the rednecks in the Mustangs and F bodies). So I ended up dropping it and not pushing further.

Maybe something in Sept like Nader said, but I am not willing to do a bunch of other clubs too... Just RX

 

We will also be able to at some point do a meet in the San Rafael area if I ever get my act together with the dyno at the shop...

 

**** Mark, I don't know how I never saw this thread before today. I'm sorry that we stepped all over your original date for a meet. I'd love it if one of the North Bay guys organized a meet sometime. I know that we are in the middle of organizing a driving based meet in September, but other than that I'll support anything you guys come up with. Once again, I apologize for not seeing this thread before today.

Nader and I will plan ahead and get a September or November meet or something. I have a lot of people in our area that are willing to host us, but I want it done on our terms.
