Im swapping my FMIC

I currently have an older Greddy/Trust Intercooler thats pretty small...if I swap it out for a slightly larger one, will I need to retune my car?

I will be changing my piping and mounting it further forward. Currently, all my IC pipes go to the right side of the motor. With the new setup, I will be relocating my battery and running IC pipes on the left and right side of the motor. A more standard setup I guess.

I was just tuned by Steve K....will that all be down the drain if I do all this?

Also, I might be adding Methanol/Water Injections or some sort of technique to cool down IC...any ideas?

i don't see why swapping a different FMIC will need you to retune your car.

depending on how much difference in core size and intercooler piping length, diameter and routing I can see it making a difference big enough to qualify for a retune. It would depend on how aggressively it was tuned initially... if it was a little conservative I'd think youd have enough wiggle room to not have to worry.

I think its a pretty big difference. Right now, all my pipes run through the passenger side of the motor. With the new stuff, Ill be relocating my battery and running pipes on both sides (left and right) of the motor.
