Wow that sucks. I hope you regain some more movement. Keep the spirits up and hopefully everything will turn out good in the end.

Hey doug, im new here but thats besides the point. I kinda started to cry when i read about it. My regards and prayers go out to you tonight! it doesnt matter if ive never met you i feel you man! Keep strong, you WILL recover. Work on becoming mentaly strong, a Family member of mine was paralyzed from the neck down back in 1995. His car stering wheel locked in the locked position on a overpass on the freeway, and it jumped the overpass 40 ft down. he fell out the sun roof and the car crushed him. They said he will never walk again. Today he can stand and walk on a walker. Dont give up and dont let it get you down. the road to recovery is long but you have alot of support not only on this fourm but also im sure the people around you! My prayers and best wishes go out to you tonight! maybe we can arange a meet and we can all cruise up there!!!

im sorry about what happened to you including the abandoment. Sue that ******* for everything and I hope he spends time. I can make a few calls so he will be marked in every ******* pita. That **** will not make it to general population, he will pay rent and will not own anything. His vacation will be a very memorable one.

I read the story, don't know who you are, looked at your car domain site (What a beautiful car, and I hope your friends come to visit you.... Anyways..) What everyone says here is true. I am sure you see it, don't ever give up. You can't lose that way, you can do anything with enough time as long as you have the will to.
You should definately try and come out to one of these 7 Meets (If we can ever pull one off), or well maybe someone should being a meet ot you. I have gone through tracy a couple of times, I go to sacramento/davis quite a bit so im somewhat near the area.
With the way technology is moving these days you will be back on the road making my FC cry in no time. Im sure of it, take care and let me know if theres anything I can do to help. (Yeah may sound weird from someone you don't know but still, I am sure theres alot of others here today who would help you out just the same.)

wow, i seriously am impressed by your outlook on life, and with your awesome attitude im sure you will be rehabed up good enough to beat the **** out of your "friend" that got you in this situation in the first place. im have true admiration for you doug, and i am looking forward to the day you can take me for a ride in your fd. i am from san francisco and am down in southern california (irvine) right now for school. next time i am going to be driving up is in june, so if youre still there in chatsworth ill try to come by and buy you a drink buddy.

Hey fella our hearts are with you...our friend and associate popped a bad flip on his dirt bike 3 weks ago and at 29 is now unable to function waist down...we are holding vigil for the return of his legs too. Our thoughts are with you.
