I'm a Nuisance
What? Looks fine to me. I forgot to get a pic of the stripped interior.
I was thinking about dropping in one of these. F**k V8's, that's an 18 cylinder radial engine. 18 cylinders, 2 speed super charger, 2 power recover turbines, 3,700 hp.

Yeah, bought it as a parts car, then realized the body was in better shape then my current car. I'm gonna swap the engine from the gold car to this one. It's in better shape, but not what I'd call good. The hood and front fascia are black while the rest of the car is gray. Also the clear coat is peeling off. But it's straight and there's hardly any rust. Also it's got 5 lug wheels and the bigger brakes.
Question: I'm gonna be pulling the engine and tranny together. Do I use the front lifting point, the back, or both? (The little hoops ahead and behind the dynamic chamber.)

I hate this crap, unless you live in the boonies you get absolutely no love if you're a car enthusiast. There are some cities in my area that prohibit leaving your car in your OWN DRIVEWAY for more than 72 hours, otherwise it is subject to being towed. And you can't work on your car in your own driveway. Complete bullshit...and they're trying to do this crap in my town. So much for freedom in home ownership.

it's hella stupid but you gotta understand too that it's the dumb ***** before us that ruined it by leaving total pieces of **** in their front lawns and driveways, having them leak fluids all over the private and public property or letting them rust away. those cars made the neighborhood look hella ghetto and as such people complained. it only takes a few people to ruin it for the masses.
but also had this car not been left in the air as it was you probably would have flown right under their radar for a very long time with little to no problems. the car looks like it's in really good condition and you take care of it so i bet if you took it down and moved it, providing the tags are still good, they'd just look the other way. just move it around every couple days so no one is the wiser i guess.

usually one of your neighbors calls it in and complains about the "eyesore" and then some pencil pusher writes up a complaint and makes a cop go serve the notice. don't blame the fuzz for this one, i'm sure for the most part they'd rather be fighting real crime and not "nuisances" like this one.

It's California. The laws here aren't designed for car enthusiasts :P Just conform, junk your seven, and buy a Prius
The local cops aren't too strict about that kind of stuff. We have a bunch of junk cars around here that are parked in people's drive ways rusting away.
The only problem I've had is that the cops came to my house when I left my Seven on the lawn to dry after washing it. I didn't want to get my driveway wet . They told me to move the car or I'd get a ticket. I didn't even have my license back then so I listened to what the man said.

To be honest, the car has been sitting in front of my house / in my driveway for 5 months. However the moment it went up into the air, I get a nasty gram from a metermaid. I live on a fairly busy street too, so I don't know if it was a complaint or if they just drove by.
Might be that crabby old man next door who swears I was trying to kill his wife by playing catch in my back yard.
Oh and if you ever want to get some looks, take the hood off your car and stand next to an engine hoist. Damn near caused a traffic jam with that ****.
Pulled the junk engine today. It went alright. There was some cussing. I unhooked the throttle cable from the TB, but not the bracket on the TB. It was stretched to **** by the time I noticed it, so I just cut it. Also forgot to undo a bracket on the #2 housing that holds the wiring harness. That got stretched a little bit.

me too hahah
my tranny blew up on my 240sx and i had a sr20det in the garage so i pulled hte motor out of the car and removed the front body pieces while the front end was lifted on jacks and probably had it like that for a month while awaiting a few parts to arrive and i recieved one of those letters as well. I got the car running a few days after that letter and crumpled it in the trash lol.
Didnt help my car was like 5 colors lol
eventually the end result
