The display on my cell phone has completely turned off. I can still accept calls and make calls from the phone, but I can't scroll through my phone book and I can't see who's calling me because the display is completely fucked.

I went to a few verizon wireless stores and because I don't have insurance, and my warranty was up a few months ago, I was told I have 3 options.

1. Buy a "replacement" phone from Verizon for $50.
2. Buy a brand new phone
3. Use an existing verizon wireless compatible phone and transfer my cell # on it.

Does anyone here have a verizon wireless compatible phone that's not too old? I heard that it has to be pretty recent, not an old brick phone.

I'm willing to drive pretty much anywhere in So Cali to buy one cheap off someone. Please let me know.....

If anyone knows of any other options I can take, please post. Thanks people.

Lucky you. I cant even use mine. It fell in a bucket of water during hte weeknd. I have several older ones. PM me a picture as I hate looking for part #.
