Will the referee just look at things on the ticket, or will he/she look at the whole car?

1. Loud exhuast
2. Front Lic.

 

this is a fix it ticket, i have recieved tons of these... ix your exhaust.. put the stock on e on... put your front plate on. Go to the highway patrol station.... referee or what not, they look at the plate and make sure its there.... then they have you start the car.. and rev to make sure its not too loud.... problem solved....

 

then go home and put the exhaust back on, and take of the license plate

 

oooh or did you get on eof these new tickets... CA is giving... basically implying you are an illegal treet racer.... and you have to get an inspection and a smog... and pay the fine to prove you car is street legal? read the earlier posts on this subject

 

haha i got the same last year with my apexi gt spec and i went to the referee, it was so damn easy, u don't need to smog. exhaust it not illegal, only if they are over a certain noise decibel. wen i went to the referee, i threw on my silencer (haha) and passed with 89dbs lol and that was it. i took it to court and they dropped the charges haha

 

yeah, its basically a normal looking ticket with a white sticker the cop put on the back of it.

I dont have any cats or air pump on it right now. oh, and my tires are bald.

Cool! as long as those effers dont nose around the car im good to go with just a quiet exhuast and a front plate!

 

Or you can just pay the fine and move on. You do not need to go to the Ref. I think mine cost an extra $60. I did not have to fix anything, and I did not have to go to the Ref.

Buy a SRT-4. Few mods will make you fast as hell and still smog legal.

Yes, at least I did. It specified that I could pay the full fine, or that I had to have it checked and still pay $120 of the fine. I figured for $60 more, it was a waste of time to have it checked out. Plus, my car was a rolling violation, if you know what I mean.
