I can't bust my nuts

Yes, I'm impotent. I just can't bust these nuts. My air compressor and impact wrench are just way too incapable. Cheap stuff, that's what I get.

The bolts circled in blue.

This car is immovable, stripped nearly to the naked frame. All I have left is the diff and the gas tank. I can't but those nuts to take the cross member off.

help. help!!!!

There wouldn't happen to be anyone out there in the bay area who might let me borrow a strong impact wrench and capable compressor? or perhaps come over and take 'm out for me? Anybody?

I need to get this damn pile of metal out of my garage. Dammit. Dammit. So close. So damn close, and now so far away.

anybody?

impact guns are not necessarily stronger than your arm, often times when my $300 top of the line impact won't get a nut off i have to break out the ole' muscles.

a good breaker bar will do the trick and is much cheaper than most impact guns anyways.

use a long breaker bar. sometimes our ingersoll rand just dont cut it and we use a really long breaker bar to apply constant raw pressure

omfg

So yeah, I gave it all I had on the driver side. I literally had both feet braced in the rear wheel well, I lifted myself off of the ground, pushing, gave it all I could give and it broke. I hella fell, haha.

But I couldn't do the same on the other side. I could brace my feet on the pass side door frame, but I just didn't have it. Then I remembered the whole thing with foot-pounds. I borrowed a bar from an excercise machine, and it made it tons easier. I'm such a dumb ***.

seriously though what the hell are those nuts supposedly torqued down to? I've never had such a run in with anything on this car like that.
