How many PFC Tuners do we have in CA?

The only one that I know of in the Bay Area is Racetune Engineering in:

1680 West Winton Ave. Unit#9
Hayward, CA 94545
510.259.1864

http://www.racetune.net/

They have the portable Dynapack 3000 Chassis Dynamometer.

The Dynapack is attached directly to the wheel hubs, thereby overcoming all the disadvantages of tire distortion
including noise, torque steer, loss of traction, tire heat and variations in tire design and wear. Direct coupling
eliminates the need to estimate torque and enables the dynamometer to make very sensitive readings over a very
wide range of engine speeds. With no tire roller interface the results are more precise and are repeatable.

Preciseness of engine results - no inertia to mask engine faults
Repeatability - accurate back to back runs within 0.3%
Portability - on and off site
Stress free - 2 to 30 seconds runs for all results pf power, torque gases & data acquisition
Minimal noise level - no tyre interface
Virtually no installation and running costs
Cost effective - chassis and engine dyno capable
Flexible, easy to use software

ghetto dave is another great tuner in the bay area osdesigns.com is his website. Always knowledgable, great asset to the bay. As well as I think chuck if he can find time will tune an FD at his friend's dyno. Otherwise they both can tune at ATP in fremont.

Neil

PS Dave will be tuning again hopefully next week

Rick's Rotary does it too, but with street flogging and a wideband.

what kind of software does dynospot racing use? Are they using the datalogit or are they using just the commander.

Also don't forget XS engineering in So cal and Motorsport Dynamics in Sacramento, those two are authorized excel dealers from Apex'i.
