Hi Guys! i am new.

hey guys! whats up? my name is allen and i am new. i just thought i was introduce myself to you guys since i am a noob to the forum. i am from la palma in so cal and drive a 1987 turbo II fc. hope to meet some new friends here and to learn a lot about my car.

so are there any meets around this area?

oh and one more things do you guys have a suggestion for a quite high performance muffler? cause the cops around my area are really strict with the noise and i need something to quite the noise on my engine. i have a 3' cat and an hks downpipe. so anything suggestions to quite that down? any advice would be appreciated.

oh and one more thing... i have a short shifter on my fc but i really dont like how it feels wen i drive. so i am willing to trade it for a stock long shifter. but the thing is i dont really know how to uninstall but i will be more than happy to help you anyone with uninstall and reinstall of the shifters for those who want to trade. just pm me.

thanks guys.

welcome.

You can try the apex'i exhaust with the active tail silencer. It made my car sound a lot more mellow than without the silencer. It's got a spring so it'll flow when you get enough back-pressure, but it's quiet when you're just cruising around.

The shifter is really easy to do. Just try it out. It's not something that you should have any problems with (unless you don't know how to use simple tools - i.e. allen wrenches). Lemme know if you need help with it or if you can't find someone that wants the short shifter. I'm pretty sure that I still have my stock shifter around, but mine's a '91, so your stock shift **** wouldn't fit (the shifter would fit, just the threading on the **** is different).

I'll add another vote for the Racing Beat exhaust. And welcome to the forums. Best of luck with your FC.
