Hey guuuuuuyyyyssssssss, looking for an FD.....

Wassup to all the OG fellas that I used to hang out with here.......... I'm checking around to see if anybody knows of anyone selling a nice clean low-mid mileaged FD in the SF bay area.......

- No Motego Blue
- No White
- No tan interior
- Clean title
- 5spd manual
- No major dents/scratches/holes/missing doors or panels
- low to mid miles
- preferably on original or 2nd motor

So yup that's it! Let me know guys, thanks!

Oh I know huh! Actually I found one, you guys may have seen it on craigslist, it's the silver FD with 32k original miles. I'm trying to get connected with the owner and still waiting for his replies. I don't know why I love these damn FDs, maybe it's because it feels like home when I'm sitting in the driver's seat

Wes - Yeah I'm gonna ditch the econ box, nice car, but not really for me anymore. Slow cars just don't cut it for me..........

Justin - That's a nice FD, but I'm looking for something a bit more stockish and with less miles on the chassis.

DJDINO - Thanks!

pshaw - Thanks!

BTW, I'm working over at BMW of San Francisco doing executive work, manager/sales support and being trained for sales in the near future. It's a badass dealership and if any of you guys want a bimmer let me know and I'll hook it up! Plus I get to control all of the inventory coming in and drive the cars too!

About that car on craigslist. My friend just sold his S2K for college because he was going down to San Diego State, but he isn't going there anymore so he's looking for a car and he called me asking about if this is a good deal. I believe that this is a wonderful deal, especially how clean and how low miles the car has. Let alone the mods done to it. It already has a PFC, so we know it'll be tuned pretty well, has coilovers, so suspension is pretty much set, and the gauges to watch over everything. I would offer him maybe high 17000's and try to meet at possible 18,000 or 18,200 that would be an awsome deal.

With that low mileage and in that condition, I would think he'd put it around 20k. Also, get the compression ratings on the rotors to make sure they are still in good condition which I would think they are. Other than that, it's a clean car. Good luck on your purchase!

Hey thanks for the info! I think I should call him up since it's been several days since I emailed him about the car. As long as it has a clean title and a good reasonable explanation why the car is being sold then I wouldn't mind paying a good penny for it. But from the pictures the car does look very nice.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say my friend was saying that the seller is the owner of a well known Mazda shop, but I don't know for sure if this is true. He was saying that like the actual owners friend died in a crash with his RX-7 or something and so he never really drove his FD anymore because of it and the owner of this shop (I have no idea) is selling the car for him.

Don't quote me on any of this, my friend who was looking at this car was telling me over the phone.

Hey Dana,

Probably no more than $20k for a nice clean one. I know the market for the FDs isn't as strong as before (like the ones asking $27k+) but I know with my budget I can get a nice low-mid mileage FD............ But who knows...............

looks like EP's gonna get hisself a new used FD. I miss the hell out of Brenda, but I sure as hell don't miss the heartache of seeing repair bills. I hear the new solstice turbo is coming out later this year.

I think he means that the prices in RX-7's are going to go up. Wasn't the FD used in the first fast and the furious? Did the price go up after that movie or what? I don't know, luckily in this new movie, the FD is heavily kitted and you really can't tell that it's an FD. The negative is that the car is one of the main cars and everyones going to ask what kind of car it is.
