Hey Bay Area....
Hey gang,I currently own a 87 sport that has had a blown motor for the last 2 years. Everything is done to it suspension, exhaust, F1 racing cup 17's. All I need is the motor. So before I go drop about $5k into this I thought I would go see if anyone in the bay area has thought about selling a TII. I know Neofreak was thinking about selling his but it's out of my price range to spend on a really nice TII! My target price range I was thinking was 6 maybe 7k. So let me know by responding to the thread or email robertsullivan77@yahoo.com.
P.S. If any of the old school people remember from the Bay Area I used to use the screen name Sully and you just might remember the car from Dyno day in fremont 2-3 years back. God I miss driving 7's!!!

Hey long time no see
What's up Wayland! It's been a really long time. Yeah that was me back in the day. I don't work in the retail stores anymore. I finally got promoted to a position working for the corp office now. Thank God! Of course we were bought out so now I'm a cingular employee. South San Fran where the old ATT Wireless buliding was a huge pain in the ***. Cingular's corp office for the bay is in pleasanton. Alot better of a drive
So anyways it's nice to see the same people are still around and still remember me. If I don't see a TII that I like I'm just going to rebuild the old NA. I'm probably going to do that really soon because I wanted the car done for my bday in late sept. A nice bday prsent to myself! I'm really not looking forward to doing that because I'm buying the mazda reman from a mazda dealer in Virginia. They regurally ship the core to another guy in Virgina to have it ported then I get it shipped back to my mechanic in Campbell Mr. Mazda. He is just the most awesome guy I ever met. Really really cool, his name is Mike if you want a reference to shop for all you South bay owners. I know I know why Virgina?? Well Mike just had his engine done by the same people and was really impressed with how his engine is working out. Last time I bought a core was from Checkpoint engineering in Sac and that didn't last more than a year with about 13K for mileage. I don't want that to happen again so I'm making sure it's going to be done right.
Before I go through all that headache and money I wanted to explore every option possible. It's not everyday you put 5grand into a car that is almost 20 years old. You gotta have alot love and patience for these cars.
Hope to see you guys soon with a working seven.
