Help! Welder needed in San Diego

My clutch pedal assembly is about to fail and I need to respot weld it before it snaps..

Not mine but exactly what happened.





This is what I need done.

what's what happens when you drift an RX-8 i suppose?

good luck mang. go find a local muffler shop. i'm sure they can weld it for you.

It's common for Rx8s actually.. some guys had worse luck and when their bracket snaps they couldn't drive. I was lucky to get home and then some. but also clutch kicking often doesn't help I guess lol.

Most of the other guys seem to get the "warning sound" (squeeky pedal) at 20k and breaks at 30k. Mine snapped at 79k and still works.. I'm just paranoid of going to Inland with a failing bracket.

If you still need a welder in SD....

Call Rick @ La Mesa Muffler and Brake on University Ave. Phone number is 619 582-7100. Real cool guy, tell him his buddy Tommy the stereo guy told you to call him and he'll take care of any welding needs you have.
