I just wanted to bring some simple logic to these people that think there is a magical way to increase there gas mileage. If your tired of paying to much for gas go electric!

All I can say is tune up stay under 5000 RPM and make sure you drive over 10 miles one way and get to cruising speed, and stay there. That helps me get 200 miles per tank. It may be hard, because it is for me to ignore them ******** in the Hondas that try to revv on you. I just past them clutch in revv to 6,500 and pop flames on them they leave me alone after that...

Tire pressure about 5 psi less than max (a bit of overinflation helps, definitely don't get caught low).
Spark plugs etc (get a tune).
AC = more effecient than windows down
Drive easy
Swap a piston motor
Empty the crap out of your car

I wish I could get that milage on the streets with no boost at all and have a different tune for the track!....lol.

That's terrible gas milage for sure.

After my tune I average 24 mpg on the freeway and 17 on the streets. Of course this is driving like a regular human being and not like a wannabe Mario Andretti...

No one even commented on my piston motor cheap shot... I make 462 rwhp and get about 23 mpg in mixed driving.

i get 26 or so on the highway in my vert. dont rev alot, change the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, FUEL SOCK, and air filter.

gas mileage needs good air flow and fuel flow to be even close to normal.

compression matters too.
