CA HELP!!! 1984 Carb Tuning

Idles really low and sometimes about to die. Sputters when you step on the gas.

I know nothing about carb setups so willing to pay some one to come fix it or trade my FD parts.

that's a holley carb. what pump are you using as stock pump is not enough for a thirsty holley. Since there is no F/P regulator in the engine bay, I have a feeling that is a stock carb. its a simple tuning/fix but I'm too far away from you

Don't know what pump. I just got the car a few days ago.

Changed the spark plugs and the car drove perfect yesterday 60+ miles no problems.

Woke up to go to work the next morning, started the car and the idle slowly drops the warmer the engine got and eventually almost dies. Drove it around the block and the car sputters. After that i just parked it.

Later at night i tried starting it and now the car doesn't want to start.

Just picked up the car advertise as

-Starts every time
-Runs great

I have a feeling this is going to cost a lot more then expected and more then just a tune.

Changing the fuel filter on a newly-bought used car is generally a good idea.

That crankcase venting scheme (or lack of one, actually) needs looking at, too, although it's probably not the source of your problem. Lung mustard is in your future, unless you get a breather of some kind on there.

need some one to do a house call on carb tuning.

Located in Long Beach 90813 will pay for your gas and labor!

I talked to WackyRicer but want to avoid towing the car bc it's too expensive.
