motor from?

the hole btw is supposed to be connected to your ABV.

i guess it's been chopped off.

 

Motor is from Indio, CA. Brought from Osaka, JP to Montreal, QB then to my house son. Company is called GotJDM. How ironic. Just recently received, working on it atm.

 

J-spec FD ECU


That's not a bolt, it's a nut. And it's reusable. It has that notch because whoever took off the flywheel at one point didn't have an impact gun and did it the old school way.

Something with the turbo system. It broke off. Replace that piece.

It's a coolant pipe that connects to the BAC.

Vacuum line. Take off the UIM and change out all the vacuum lines with new ones.


I'm not going to even bother replying to this. Get a good condition used harness, period. The stress of tracing down wires and soldering things up will be too much of a PITA, especially considering a decent harness is relatively cheap.

K well first off... I called the guy who sold me the engine and hes trying to get me a JDM s5 ECU and Uncut Harness... If worst comes to worst I can get a US ECU+Harness and use that right? Coz I know I wont be able to use that FD ECU... That pipe on the BAC is finished... I think I need to get a whole new BAC, but I'll get into that later. + I'm getting new hoses, coz alot of the hoses seem to be either really used/corroded or broken.

+ I dont know if I'm going to use the stock TMIC.... Its kinda fucked up. So... I might just end up going FMIC...

Sorry no pix update... Lost battery to my camera. I'm just taking the engine apart and cleaning + inspecting as much as I can before I swap it in. I will update tonight!

Yeah, hook up the US spec engine harness to the US ECU. Im running the same set up.
