Has anyone dealt w/ registering a "dismanltled" car?
I've been having this problem for the past couple days. Story is that the GTUs I have was dismantled as of April 20, 2009 and I had bought the car in June of 2009. Went to the DMV to get the title transferred and it comes up as dismantled but the car is obviously not because I've driven it quite the distance (NorCal to SoCal). Any advice or information that can help me w/ this situation?
Yes i have been on both ends of this problem several times...
Best way to deal with this is let those personaly owned auto registration facilities take care of the work for you...I never go to DMV to deal with issues like that and haven't been to a DMV in the past 6-9yrs..They do everything for you and know all the loop holes and short cuts to make things happen...There service is only like $20-30 bucks at most...and take care of all the paper work to make the car legit, reg'd, blah blah blah...quickest and easiest way!!!
