Hahaha, Just got a letter from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District

Hahaha, Just got a letter from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District

They said , because my 75' REPU is older then 1987 that they will pay me $650.oo bucks to get that heap off the roads... what the hell can i get for 650 bucks?... another 1987 or older vehicle ... what a bunch of idoits

I guess I should be expecting another letter about my 87 FC

This is part of that 'stimulate the economy' scheme. So sell it to them for $650 and when the tax relief check arrives, another $600, then you'll be in good shape for getting at least a 1990 Ford Escort GT.

actually I paid 500 for it, so I suppose I would be making money ... but i have put a little money and a lot of time into since i got it...

as far as I know they have been buying back old cars for years, it's there way of reducing smog
